![]() ![]() Skarlet however takes Kotal Kahn out of the battle and sends him to a dungeon where he faces several of the enemies before making his way back to the surface to fight and temporarily defeat Shao Kahn. ![]() The two fight, and Raiden resigns himself to helping Kotal Kahn with the others. At the Earthrealm base, past versions of Johhny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Jaxson Briggs appear, with Johnny coming face to face with his past, while simultaneously, the current red-eyed Raiden disappears in a cloud of sand.īack at the arena, other characters appear, both good and evil: Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao, Jade and a blue eyed Raiden for the good while for the evil Skarlet, Erron Black, Baraka, Kano, and most importantly the former Kahn, Shao Kahn, who challenges Kotal Kahn for being on the throne. Suddenly, as Kronika begins to alter time, the past and present collide, bringing a number of past versions of Mortal Kombat characters into the present. ![]() We jump to the fighting arena of Outworld, where Kotal Kahn is about to execute the Collector. Kronika looks to reset time, taking out Raiden in the process so he can no longer mess up her vision. We learn that Kronika had a plan for the time and plot of the universe that (SUPRISE) Raiden messed up. The strange woman from the first scene appears before the corrupted Liu Kang and Kitana, repairing the fallen temple in the reverse order of its destruction.Īnnouncing herself to Kronika, Keeper of Time, she brings the two to a chamber with a large hourglass. After the Earthrealm soldiers return with Raiden to their base, we come upon the destroyed Temple of Shinnok. ![]()
